2BAYS has been informed by Global Oil Management Group (Global) of its decision to reassess its investment planning as a direct consequence of the current geopolitical situation, notably the sanctions imposed by the United States on Venezuela and the resulting significant changes in market conditions.

As part of this evaluation, Global has decided to temporize its activities to reactivate the asphalt production plant. Despite these developments, Global has expressed that it remains committed to honoring its contractual obligations and that it will continue to ensure the reliable supply of utilities.

2BAYS acknowledges the significant challenges arising from the ongoing situation between the USA and Venezuela, as well as the resulting changes in the market. 2BAYS remains actively engaged in assessing the impact and continue working closely with our partners, including Global, to foster and reactivate economic activities at our Emmastad and Bullen Bay locations.
